CommPlug Innovations is the company behind VIKMO. Founded by Arbaaz Sha Muzawer and Wasim Shaikh — with a nine-year head start on understanding what multi-channel commerce actually looks like in India.

The origin

VIKMO was built inside a 9-year-old business. Ours.

In 2017, Arbaaz founded Custom Elements — a motorcycle accessories e-commerce business out of Bengaluru. What started as a Shopify store grew, over nine years, into one of India's most comprehensive motorcycle accessories businesses: 12,000+ SKUs, 345 categories, 225 brands, selling across Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, WhatsApp, a dealer network, and an offline counter. All accounted on Tally Prime — like almost every Indian distribution business.

Every piece worked. Together, they were a nightmare.

Stock mismatches across channels. Hours every week typing orders into Tally by hand. WhatsApp orders getting lost at 11 PM. Dealers calling the team to check stock. Marketplace account health slipping due to overselling. Month-end reconciliation taking entire weekends.

Arbaaz tried most of the Indian SaaS tools that claim to solve multi-channel commerce. The B2C-first e-commerce OMS platforms were good at marketplaces but weak at B2B. The ERP route meant six-month implementations and still no two-way Tally. The marketplace-only tools didn't fit a business that also sold D2C and wholesale. The generic WhatsApp chatbots had no real commerce logic.

Nothing existed that was built for a business like ours.

So in 2025, with Wasim as co-founder, Arbaaz started building it. CommPlug Innovations Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated. VIKMO was born as the answer to a nine-year-old question: what would commerce software look like if it were designed for Indian multi-channel sellers from scratch?

The first thing we did was install it back inside Custom Elements — on the real 12,000 SKUs, real six channels, real dealer network. If VIKMO could handle that, it could handle any Indian multi-channel business. See the proving ground.

Arbaaz is the founder of CommPlug Innovations and Custom Elements Pvt. Ltd. He has been operating a multi-channel distribution business out of Bengaluru since 2017 — selling motorcycle accessories across Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, WhatsApp, a dealer network, and an offline counter.

VIKMO exists because of what those nine years taught him: no software built for Indian multi-channel commerce actually fit the reality of running one. So he built it.

Wasim is an MBA in Marketing with 14+ years of experience across Sales and Operations. At VIKMO, he runs operations — making sure the product actually gets to customers, runs smoothly in production, and delivers on what the marketing promises.

His operating experience gives VIKMO the rare combination of founder-level product thinking and real operational rigour.

Why we built this together

Arbaaz needed a system he couldn't find. Wasim brought two decades of sales and ops discipline to building it. Between us: the operator who lived the problem, and the operator who knows how to build systems that serve operators. VIKMO is the product of both.

Built by Indian operators, for Indian operators

Commerce software for India has to be built by people who sell in India. We know WhatsApp is a sales channel, not a notification layer. We know Tally is the source of truth. We know your buyer wants to talk in Hindi, Tamil, or Kannada — not English.

Partners where we can, builds what's missing

We use Interakt for the messaging layer. We use Google Cloud for infrastructure. We integrate with Tally, Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart rather than pretending to replace them. We build the missing piece: the commerce brain that ties it all together.

Quiet confidence over loud claims

We don't claim to be the only platform in India doing anything. We don't name competitors to make ourselves look bigger. What we do, we do well, and we let the product speak. If it works for you, you'll know.

Every feature from real operational pain

Every feature in VIKMO exists because we needed it at Custom Elements or because a customer asked for it. No feature-matrix chasing. No "checkbox engineering." If we don't use it ourselves, we don't ship it.

What we're building toward

A commerce system Indian multi-channel sellers can actually run on.

We believe the next decade of Indian commerce will be defined by multi-channel sellers — businesses that sell across WhatsApp, dealer networks, marketplaces, their own stores, and offline counters, all at once. Most SaaS built for them today is either generic (built for American workflows) or fragmented (one tool per channel, none of them talking to each other).

VIKMO is our attempt at the alternative: a single commerce system built for how Indian businesses actually operate — WhatsApp-native, Tally-synced, multi-language, multi-channel by default. Not another bolt-on integration, but the operating layer that makes all the channels and all the tools work as one.

We're still early. We're selective about who we work with. We'd rather have 50 customers who love VIKMO than 500 who tolerate it. If that sounds like the kind of software partner you want — let's talk.
